Happy Monday, friends!
I’ve long wondered if writing a post like this one is appropriate, especially at this point in the year. But, when I think about it, autumn is the best time to start focusing on intentions again. It’s the season of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur in my household, and a lot of introspection is happening. I write this week’s first round of intentions in digital form to you as a way to encourage you to jot down all that is on your plate for the week ahead. I’ve been writing weekly intentions in a diary for years. Never thinking that perhaps seeing someone else’s intentions might be beneficial, supportive, or, dare I say, inspiring?
This weekend, I tended to a sick child and toiled with inner demons that popped up around the concepts of work, play, and worthiness. I know that sounds dark and heavy. It wasn’t that dark or that heavy. More revealing, like when we do a deep clean of the house and discover the long-lost slipper or that errant sock or crayon. In all that time to scuffle about and tend to my nest, I settled into the idea that our humanness is a pilgrimage. One that we can adorn in any way we are so privileged to have the ability to do so. And so, this is how sharing my weekly intentions, no matter how dull, has come to fruition in this blog space. No SEO madness. No keyword research. Just my words on a page for you to read when you unearth them in your search for humanness on the internet. Check them out:
