Instructions For Making Your Tags
Step 1 Download and Print Your Free From the Garden Of gift tags
- To begin, download the free printable gift tags using the link above.
- For best results, download your tags and print them on your home printer on standard printer paper or cardstock paper for a more polished look.
- The tags will download as a PDF that is letter size, 8 1/2 x 11-inch sheet, with multiple tags on the page.
Step 2 Cut Out Your Tags
- Once you’ve printed your gift tags, cut them out with scissors.
- Follow the outlines or dotted lines with the scissors to cut out the tag shapes.
- Trim and remove any of the remaining lines of the border as needed.
Step 3 Hole Punch and Add Ribbon or Twine
- After cutting out your tags, use a standard hole punch to punch a hole at the top of each tag.
- Align the hole punch over the designated spot on the tags.
- Thread the raffia through the hole and attach the tag to your gift.
Step 4 Attach the Tag to Your Gift
- Tie the raffia (or ribbon or twine) around your gift basket, a bunch of flowers, a jar of jam, or any other gift you are giving.
- You can also attach the tag with a small piece of tape or washi tape.
Personalize Your Tags
- Feel free to write a heartfelt message on the back of the tag, such as the name of the variety of flower or vegetable you gifted, the date it was picked, or a special message for the recipient.
